Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Rmind ("we", "the app") is a personal memory journal. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how we protect it.

What we collect

Rmind stores the content you actively put into the app: text logs you write or dictate, optional photo attachments, voice recordings (transcribed to text and then discarded), and basic account information (email address, display name, encrypted PIN if you set one). We also collect the dates and timestamps associated with your entries so the timeline view works.

How your data is stored

Your logs live in an encrypted cloud database hosted with a major infrastructure provider certified for ISO/IEC 27001, SOC 1, SOC 2, and GDPR compliance. Data is encrypted at rest using AES-256 and in transit using TLS 1.3. Access controls ensure only your authenticated account can read or write your data. We use your content solely to power the in-app features you use: the daily timeline, AI-generated digests, and the LifeGPT search.

Third-party services

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not show advertising. We do not use your content to train AI models. We do not share data with analytics or marketing tools beyond what is required to operate payments and accounts.

Your control

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from Profile → About Rmind → Manage your data. Account deletion is permanent and removes all your logs, attachments, embeddings, and profile metadata within 30 days (a soft-delete window is provided for accidental requests).

Children

Rmind is for users aged 13 and older. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in the app the next time you sign in.
